Reiki and Charging Objects

Can you charge objects using Reiki? Yes! Hold the object in your hand and send Reiki into the object using intention. Some of my favorite items to charge include crystals, the Reiki wishbox, and glasses of water.

What I love about charging crystals is that they are such natural repositories for energy. Shamans and healers have been using crystals for thousands of years to absorb, heal and transform. I work with crystals as allies in my healing work and often charge them with Reiki or other specific energies, asking the crystal to hold and release the energy over a certain length of time.

The Reiki wishbox is a fabulous way to send distance healing for Reiki practitioners of all levels. First you place the name of people in need of healing, or of "wishes" into the box. Then, by simply holding the box in one's hands and sending Reiki into the box, you are charging all of those people and wishes.

Glasses of water can be charged in the middle of a busy restaurant and people would never know! And yet, drinking water with intention and consciousness is a powerful support in our healing process.

What are your favorite items to charge?  Do you use Reiki or other methods? I would love to hear your thoughts! Post your questions or experiences below:
