3 WAYS TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS WITH REIKI

Updated: May 21, 2022

1) Take a deep inhale from the bottle before beginning your morning meditation. I really love lavender for this, but sometimes I use ylang ylang, which is beautifully down-regulating for a hyper system. I also like Frankincense, or Vetiver if my mind is feeling negative and cluttered. PROFESSIONAL TIP: Keep a bottle in your healing office for clients to gently inhale if they enter with stress.

2) Rub a few drops between your palms and then lay hands on, for Reiki self healing. Make sure to choose a gentle, body-safe oil. Some oils, like peppermint or clove, can be caustic if used in pure concentration, so they need to be cut with a carrier oil. Look at the bottle you're purchasing to see if it's a pure essential, if it has been cut with a carrier like grapeseed or jojoba, and if it's safe for skin contact. PROFESSIONAL TIP: Make sure your client is comfortable with the oil you have chosen. Many people are sensitive to smell.

3) Run Reiki into the bottle of oil between your palms, holding a specific intention. I love sending heart healing into rose & ylang ylang blends. I really enjoy Palmarosa for high vibe clearing and abundance. Add a few drops of oil to some bath salts and stir or shake well, ensuring that the oils are completely blended.

Reiki & Essential Oils go beautifully together! ❤️

blessings,

Dailey
