3 Simple Self-Reiki Techniques to Support Vibrational Shift
Life is busy. However, this year, I am meeting more people who are experiencing psychic openings, which can make busy living almost untenable. People are noticing that simply thinking about something seems to draw it more quickly into physical form. They're experienceing increased trust in intuition on a deep, gut level, requiring no need for outer confirmation. These changes are asking us to make new decisions about how we want to live, and what we want to do.
Sometimes there's confusion around this process of psychic opening, what it means, and why it's happening. We could write a book about it, but in the end, we are living this wild life! When you're having a major psychic opening, the quickest way to feel better is to do something to stabilize it.

Either way, you can begin the healing now:
Technique #1 - Point & Shoot Hands
Find the main area where you are feeling pain or aching, whether emotional or physical and place handsthere. Run Reiki into that area for 5 minutes. You can even do this at work! People will think you're just relaxing!
Mentally, make an internal list of 3 three things you deeply appreciate, or three things that have brought you joy in the past week. If there is any negative memory, person, or experience that comes up, allow yourself to acknowledge, internally vent, and then--only then--identify three things you appreciate about that person or circumstance. End with 3 more things you are thankful for in your life, in general.
Technique #2 - Self - Care Hands
Challenges in abundance flow (love, wealth, health, etc) are even tougher if you're dealing with lack of self-love, self-worth, or self-forgiveness. Let's change that!
Place your left palm on your heart chakra (center of your chest) and your right palm on your solar plexus (over the belly button). Allow yourself a moment to connect in with those areas, shifting hands as necessary and calling in Reiki.
Mentally affirm: I receive any information my body would like to share with me.
Sit quietly for five minutes, clearing your mental head space to receive any feelings, thoughts, or images that may come up. Send Reiki to challenging thoughts or memories, affirming wherever you can, "I love and approve of myself. I receive loving, divine support in my pocess of healing and growing."
Technique #3 - Grounding Hands
Cross your left foot over your knee so that you can reach it. Pound the full bottom and top of your foot as if knocking on a door. Then gently twist over the surface of your feet using opposing hands the same way you would wring water out of a dish rag. Lastly, use your fingers or paired thumbs to lovingly press and knead the valleys between your phalanges, and any other area where needed, releasing outward from the center of the foot outward toward the toes or heal. This physical movement helps toe bring fresh blood flow, energy, and awareness into your foot grounding centers.
Then lay one hand on the top of the foot and one hand on the bottom, running Reiki. Reiki II practitioners may also trace the first symbol on the bottom of the foot, intoning the symbol's name to get energy flowing.
