Life is busy. However, this year, I am meeting more people who are experiencing psychic openings, transformative moments when intuition sharpens and our sense of knowing becomes powerfully synchronized with the world around us.
Having a growth spurt in psychic awareness can make people hypersensitive to situations. People are noticing that simply thinking about something seems to draw it more quickly into physical form. They're experiencing increased trust in intuition on a deep, gut level, requiring no need for outer confirmation.

Sometimes there's confusion around this process of psychic opening, what it means, and why it's happening. What is a psychic opening? It might show up as vivid dreams, or an inner voice inviting new perspectives on old situations. During a psychic opening, it feels as if life is conspiring to lead us in a specific direction.
These experiences invite us to reflect on how we live, who we are, and what we want to create. But they can also leave us feeling ungrounded or emotionally drained. When you're having a major psychic opening, the quickest way to feel better is to stabilize your energy. That's where Reiki comes in.
If you're Reiki attuned, I beg you not to forget the power of Self-Reiki. A little bit of Self-Reiki everyday during these times makes all the difference.
If you are not yet attuned, you can run white light or love, or check out classes for an attunement.
Either way, you can begin healing now. Here are three simple techniques to get you started:
Technique 1: Pain Clearing
Find the main area where you are feeling pain or aching, whether emotional or physical. Now place your hands there. Channel Reiki into that area for 5 minutes. You can even do this at work! People will think you're just relaxing!
Mentally, make an internal list of 3 three things you deeply appreciate, or three things that have brought you joy in the past week. If there is any negative memory, person, or experience that comes up, allow yourself to acknowledge, internally vent, and then--only then--identify three things you appreciate about that person or circumstance. End with 3 more things you are thankful for in your life, in general.
This simple practice not only relieves pain but also cultivates gratitude, helping you reconnect with the present moment.

Technique 2: Heart Center Boost
Challenges in abundance flow (love, wealth, health, etc) are even tougher if you're dealing with lack of self-love, self-worth, or self-forgiveness. Let's change that!
Place your left palm on your heart chakra (center of your chest) and your right palm on your solar plexus (over the belly button). Allow yourself a moment to connect in with those areas, shifting hands as necessary and calling in Reiki.
Mentally affirm: "I receive any information my body would like to share with me."
Sit quietly for five minutes, clearing your mental head space to receive any feelings, thoughts, or images that may come up.
Send Reiki to challenging thoughts or memories, affirming wherever you can:
"I love and approve of myself. I receive loving, divine support in my process of healing and growing."

Technique 3: Root Grounding
Grounding is essential during times of change. This technique combines physical touch and Reiki to bring balance to your energy field.
Cross your left foot over your right knee so you can reach it easily. Begin by gently pounding the sole and top of your foot with your fist, as if knocking on a door.
Next, use your hands to “wring” the surface of your foot, much like you would twist water out of a dishcloth.
Finally, massage the valleys between your toes with your thumbs, releasing tension from the center of your foot outward.
Once the physical work is done, place one hand on the top of your foot and one on the sole. Channel Reiki into your foot, allowing the energy to flow freely. If you’re attuned to Reiki II, trace the first symbol on the bottom of your foot and repeat its name softly. Repeat the process with your other foot.

Your Home Practice
I challenge you to try all three techniques some time this week! Notice how they make you feel. Do you feel calmer, more grounded, or more connected? I would love to hear some of your favorite Self-Reiki techniques during this changeable time.
Life’s changes often ask us to pause, recalibrate, and reconnect with the deeper truths within us. Reiki has a way of holding space for the questions we didn’t know we needed to ask and the healing we didn’t realize we were ready for. If you feel a pull to explore this energy and how it can meet you exactly where you are, let’s connect.
Book a 15-minute call with me, and we’ll explore what’s unfolding for you and how energy work might support your next step in life. Here's the booking link:
