3 Favorite Apps For Self Healing & Manifestation

Updated: May 20, 2022

One of the things I understand about being a healing practitioner is that all of the healing in my life begins with me. Whenever I'm unable to create a baseline of health for myself, I also have a hard time concentrating on the needs of others. I don't believe you have to be "healed" to be a healing practitioner; we are all thankfully, blessedly human with lots of challenges that make our lives colorful, and our wells of compassion deep. However, I do believe you have to be able to put aside time where you can focus on someone else completely, and safely hold their health as a priority. To do that, you've got to have a basic sense of well-being in those moments in your own mind, body, and spirit.

In my journey as a healing practitioner, priestess, and teacher, I'm constantly working on my mindset. I have negative internal messages or "tapes" from my childhood that sometimes pop up. When they do I can feel patterns of self-sabotage creeping in. To work on my mindset so that I can keep growing and creating rather than staying stuck in the same place, I lean heavily into my daily practice, which includes:

+ Meditation

+ Reiki & Angelic work

+ Somatic prayer

+ Journaling

These are some of the Apps I love that support me in this:

THINK UP- Think Up is an app that allows you to create your own affirmations and record them so that you can hear your own voice sharing new beliefs into your conscious mind. I love that this app also includes background music to make the spoken affirmations extra exciting. It also has pre-written scripts if you're not sure where to begin. Three minutes a day can completely shift how you view your inner potential, and your life.

INSIGHT TIMER- The Insight timer began as a simple bell timer with beautiful singing bells and gongs to help you mark the beginning and end periods of your meditations. Over time, the Insight Timer community has also grown into thousands of people meditating each day, and offering their own guided meditations and thoughts on a variety of wonderful topics. I primarily use the bell timer function, but if you're new to meditating, then this is a great app to begin with.

TIME PASSAGES- The Time Passages app is one I happened upon years ago, and still really enjoy. It doesn't have quite the same pretty face as some other apps, but the information and the pro version (which I use for work when I need a chart on the fly) is extremely well-fitted, allowing you to run charts quickly based on your needs. In Ancient Egypt it is said that the first work of the Initiate is to "Know Thyself." For that, we study what the stars have to tell us about our proclivities and/or unconscious behavior patterns. If you know your date, time, and location of birth, you can read through the aspects of your chart, which will illuminate your unconscious patterns, giving you direction for the work of your meditations and positive affirmation scripts.

I also love SPOTIFY for making playlists, and LUCKY B for tracking income.

Do you have favorite apps? There are so many great ones out there! I'd love to hear what you use!
